Job Title: Global Lead Buyer - Food Raw Materials

Remuneration: Up to €90k + Bonus + Car

Remit: €100MM Raw Materials spend across processed: Apples, Red Fruits & Vegetables

Travel: 10-20%

Our client is a global leader in the food manufacturing area, servicing both Food Service and Food Manufacturing businesses.

As Global Lead Buyer, it will be your responsibility to source c.€100MM of Fruit and Vegetables for their different strategic business units globally. You will be someone who is comfortable delivering a business plan to develop your category directly to the CEO and implementing this independently.

You will enjoy talking at a 'peer to peer' level with the VP's of the business units, and will gain satisfaction from winning their hearts and minds to develop innovative sourcing strategies. A large part of your responsibility will be to develop supplier relationships outside of traditional markets, as these will be your future supplier regions!

You will be someone with 10+ years' experience in the food manufacturing business and a procurement expert. You will have experience with sourcing processed food raw materials - any agricultural crop sourced in a non-fresh capacity. You will be someone who understands that procurement has a massive impact to the business' bottom line operations, and as such, you will be someone who can work with a changing supplier base to deliver savings.
