The role is for a Facilities Management Category Manager based in the head office in Westminster London. The role will be managing an annual spend of £120 million across the entire FM needs of our client in the UK. Currently there is a large volume of FM contracts and a high spend attached to FM procurement across the company but there is a growing need for innovation to be implemented. What our client are expecting is for the right person to analyse the entire FM category and identify opportunities to implement innovation to maximise client and customer experience. Our client also want someone to consolidate the supply chain where needed. There will be some challenges in this role, internal stakeholders are not required by company policy to use the procurement department, but this is where good influential and stakeholder management skills will be essential.
The role will involve supplier management as well, including SRM, review meetings, and on site visits where needed.
