We have a fantastic job opportunity for you to join a global firm in Amsterdam, with an immediate start in a fast-growing team.

You are a mission driven Sustainability Assurance professional who will provide assurance on environmental, social and governance information in reports of (international) companies.

Role: ESG Assurance Manager

Location: Amsterdam (hybrid working model available)

Salary: up to €82K+ attractive benefits

About you:

As Sustainability Assurance Manager, you will work with colleagues from different departments and countries on assignments for multiple international clients. You are the spider in the web between the customer, colleagues, and specialists in various areas such as CO2 emissions, safety, human rights and innovation.

You'll lead teams that use automated tools for web, data, and text analysis to verify that the report is a correct and complete representation of reality. In addition, you have many conversations with customers to understand their processes and to investigate whether measures to ensure that the information in the report is correct actually work. With the same goal, you will go on site visits in different countries.

Your skills include:

  • University degree and Postmaster Register Accountancy programme (or equivalent)
  • 5 to 7 years of work experience in Assurance, experience in Sustainability is an advantage
  • Experience with independently carrying out Assurance assignments as a team leader
  • Affinity with data analysis, reporting and useful with a.o. Excel and/or Tableau, Power BI, etc
  • Commercial and understanding of project management and consulting skills
