I am recruiting for an experienced Public Sector Commercial Procurement Specialist to support the delivery of compliant, value-driven procurement activities across a diverse portfolio of spend. Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you'll lead end-to-end procurement exercises, ensuring all activity is carried out in line with relevant public procurement legislation and organisational policies.

The successful candidate will have experience managing invitation to tender processes, developing procurement strategies, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and building strong stakeholder relationships. You'll have a solid understanding of public sector procurement regulations, excellent commercial acumen, and the ability to balance compliance with achieving best value.

Experience within a public sector organisation such as a Local Authority, NHS, Housing Association, Education, Central Government, or Blue Light Services is essential

Solid experience using PR2015 and PA2023 is essential

Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management

. MCIPS qualification or progress towards CIPS is advantageous but not essential.
