An exciting opportunity for an experienced Category Manager - Indirect Services to take ownership of a broad and commercially important portfolio.
You'll lead procurement activity from business need through to sourcing, negotiation and contract award, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
The portfolio has a particular focus on Customer Services and Facilities Management, with significant procurement activity and complex outsourced service arrangements planned over the coming years.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver category strategies.
Lead complex end-to-end sourcing and tender programmes.
Build category pipelines and procurement roadmaps.
Develop sourcing strategies and commercial approaches.
Lead supplier engagement, evaluation and negotiations.
Deliver savings, value and wider commercial benefits.
Partner with and influence senior stakeholders.
Support new procurement systems and processes where required.

What We're Looking For
An established Category Manager who can independently lead complex sourcing programmes and operate confidently with senior stakeholders.
Experience in outsourced services, Facilities Management, Customer Services or other business services environments would be highly beneficial.
Desirable experience includes:
End-to-end strategic sourcing and Category Management.
Outsourced services / Facilities Management procurement.
Regulated or highly governed environments.
Procurement Act knowledge.
Coupa or other Source-to-Pay platforms.
Important
This role requires someone already operating confidently at Category Manager level. Candidates coming from primarily purchasing, operational buying or transactional procurement backgrounds, or those making their first move into Category Management, are unlikely to be suitable.
You'll need to be comfortable leading tenders independently, managing complex procurement activity and influencing senior stakeholders from day one.
