A leading global business service provider is looking to recruit an IT Category Lead to join their London-based Procurement function.

Your contract negotiation, stakeholder engagement and supplier management skills will be put to the test as you join the team during a major IT transformation.

The Role

• Leading on Procurement activity for IT Transformation projects across group organisations
• Responsible for strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and evaluation, stakeholder and supplier management at Local and Group wide level
• Providing commercial support for IT and Business projects, e.g. Hybrid Cloud and Common Finance Solution
• Working on deals in excess of £100m total contract value

Essential Skills

• Strong contract negotiation and evaluation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with solid stakeholder management experience
• First rate project management abilities, able to juggle multiple work streams
• IT Category Procurement / Outsourcing experience
• Experience of managing blue-chip suppliers (IBM, SAP, TCS, etc.)
