One of the most iconic global manufacturers in the world, based in Surrey, are seeking to recruit an Procurement Category Buyer - Engineering to join the procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for upward track procurement individuals to join their rapidly expanding Commercial team during an exciting period of transformation. You will be responsible for providing excellent commercial support and guidance to the Engineering Team to allow them to perform in a demanding and perfection driven industry.

Title: Procurement Category Buyer - Engineering
Salary: Up to £45k + Bonus + Competitive Package

Experience:

• Cross category procurement experience, ideally including Engineering Services procurement
• Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and support in the development of negotiation strategies for large and complex projects and contracts
• Proven supply chain management and procurement experience, dealing with both small and large value organisations
• Ability to manage stakeholders who span all levels of authority within the business
• Excellent organisational skills, deadline adherence and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to understand complex and abstract concepts (legal, technical, and/or commercial) and being able to present the information in an informative and simplified manner; such that key decisions can be made quickly and objectively
