Do you want to join a FTSE 250 British multinational defence technology company, who are at the forefront of the defence industry?

I am currently recruiting for a leading company within the defence industry, for a role that will be involved in shaping operational training for a wide range of defence companies.

This role is positioned within the centralised Procurement team working on Bidding and Programmes, with a strong emphasis on supporting strategic Bids into external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership and execution of the sourcing strategy
• Working closely with Bid teams
• Managing key suppliers and building relationships with them
• Seeking innovative solutions from supply chain partners
• Developing strong relationships with stakeholders

Experience Needed

• Previous knowledge and experience within bidding, is highly desirable
• Relevant and transferable knowledge within defence and/or technology industries
• Ability to apply commerciality into Procurement scenarios
• Proven expertise in end to end life cycle of Procurement activity
