Business Transformation data analyst - 350 p/d

Contract: interim 12 months, Fulltime role

Location: West London. Hybrid working: 3 days p/w in office

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Data Analytics Analyst to join a dynamic Transformation team (People, Culture and Communication) at the heart of a large-scale, enterprise-wide programme. Working within the Business Case workstream, you will play a critical role in ensuring robust financial planning, performance tracking, and data governance across the transformation programme. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving complex problems with data, this role offers both challenge and impact.

What You'll Do

Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Lead monthly forecasting cycles for transformation spend, including performance tracking and reporting
  • Manage reconciliation of third-party costs to ensure accuracy and transparency

Transformation Operations

  • Coordinate team change requests and support smooth onboarding of resources
  • Enable efficient operational processes across the transformation team

Business Case Planning & Performance

  • Support ongoing planning, governance, and performance tracking of the programme business case
  • Deliver high-quality people data analysis and insights to inform leadership decisions
  • Build and maintain robust cost assumptions and scenario models to evaluate business impacts

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Manage requests for people data in line with data privacy and governance standards

Reporting

  • Develop clear, insightful, and high-quality materials for team-level reviews and transformation updates

What You Bring

  • Strong Analytical Expertise - Highly numerate with advanced Excel modelling skills and a structured approach to data analysis
  • Previous experience supporting Transformation programme activity
  • Insight-Driven Mindset - Ability to interpret incomplete or ambiguous large data and translate it into meaningful business insights
  • Problem-Solving Under Pressure - Proven track record of delivering high-quality outputs within tight deadlines
  • Technical Proficiency - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Stakeholder Influence - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence across diverse teams such as 3rd parties and Finance.
