Role: As Interim Fleet Procurement Category Manager within this leading FTSE organisation you will be engaged on an extensive Fleet Sourcing Project. Your remit will encompass analysis of current Fleet suppliers with the target of evaluating and proposing the best future solution for the business. Analysis of current Fleet suppliers Evaluation & proposing the best possible future solution for the business Engaging with the business to identify current supplier issues and business fleet requirements – extensive stakeholder & customer engagement, securing business buy-in and support Identifying potential outsourcing options for Fleet management, engaging in extensive negotiations with: Leasing Companies, Manufacturers, Maintenance, and Fuel providers Analysing potential outsourcing options, evaluating price and service options Creation of a business proposition for the Group, outlining potential outsourced solutions Due to the current Fleet solution, this sourcing project needs to be addressed from first principles, treating the project as a Greenfield spend area; you will therefore be required to possess excellent current Fleet Sourcing expertise, and will have prior experience of managing sourcing activities and supplier management for a large-scale commercial fleet and company cars Requirements: Extensive demonstrable Fleet Procurement experience – across Leasing Companies, Manufacturers, Maintenance and Fuel providers Experience sourcing Outsourced Fleet Management solutions for a large-scale commercial fleet + company cars Excellent Purchasing Category Management and end-to-end procurement technical skills Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills Excellent Project Management skills
