Global Financial Services Organisation require Marketing Procurement Manager for a 6 month Interim Contract based in Edinburgh, Scotland! Reporting to the Head of Marketing Procurement, our client is looking for a candidate to lead marketing sourcing strategy and associated project delivery within the European region, making a key contribution to delivery of key financial targets. Role: The marketing procurement manager will be tasked with delivering 3-5 year sourcing strategies, detailing strategic opportunities to deliver value through the duration of contracts. Remit of the role covers the following categories: advertising and media, online and digital marketing, promotional items, print services and market research. In addition to the day to day deliverables, the interim consultant will be tasked with ensuring increased co-operation and co-ordination between categories and teams on a global basis. As a marketing category specialist you will be asked to assist in the development of effective supplier relationships whilst driving the implementation of effective Vendor Management practices Requirements: - Extensive, demonstrable marketing sourcing category expertise, encompassing both Above and Below the line categories - Excellent strategic sourcing process management & improvement experience, across the end to end lifecycle - Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills - Strong negotiation and influencing skills
