Role: Procurement Analyst - responsible for driving procurement best practice within sourcing processes of this leading FTSE 100. Responsibilities: Planning & executing sourcing activities, providing quality commercial support. Tracking of cost indices, supplier & product research, managing projects & data. e-Sourcing: Planning, creating & executing e-sourcing exercises, maintaining commercial & operational data, process management & systems development / maintenance, contractual maintenance, research re: business intelligence (product, market, supplier) Procurement Process Management & Systems: Support management & development of e-sourcing system to maximise efficiency Maintain master database, including sourcing & category strategies, product & supplier information Develop category strategies & sourcing plans in collaboration with procurement team Maintain category spend & savings performance data, maintain accurate contracts database Provision of procurement advice to internal customers Provide support to procurement negotiation teams during commercial analysis of supplier proposals Maintain supplier performance management systems, Market Intelligence & Research: Conduct product & market research & analysis Monitoring key economic & commodity indices Perform supplier appraisals Support supplier performance management, analysis and assessment. Requirements: Graduate / equivalent calibre, with demonstrable experience successfully operating within strategic procurement department Strong analytics experience, ideally with focus on products / direct spend, therefore industry experience within FMCG, or broader Manufacturing is of significant value Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills Exposure to utilising / managing e-sourcing systems (ideally including Ariba) Able to work effectively both autonomously, and within a strategic team Excellent IT & numeracy skills
