Role: Procurement Analyst

Location: Amsterdam - Hybrid working

Contract: Full-time, permanent contract

Travel: Occasional travel may be required

This exciting procurement analyst role offers an experienced procurement analyst the opportunity to join a brilliant team in Amsterdam. You'll lead a range of analytical projects as outlined below and work as a core part of the procurement team, leading strategic analysis alongside numerous Category Managers and development of Procurement Excellence.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across various specialisms such as gathering, analysing and visualising data, working within procurement, managing and presenting to stakeholders, implementing and maintaining tooling, PowerBI and strong Excel (or Google Suite) skills.

The role:

  • Partner and understand the key priorities and business needs of our internal customers and the needs of the Procurement team (Category Managers, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product teams)
  • Assist the procurement team in gathering business intelligence from various systems internally and with 3rd parties
  • Administer Procurement tools, including access, user accounts management, and spend classification.
  • Support Category Managers to maintain and update spend, contract and savings data in real-time
  • Set up Key Performance Indicators and dashboards
  • Assist development of procurement excellence across the business
  • Evaluate supplier proposals to identify opportunities and risks. Create, maintain, and update data for tenders in real-time, to support negotiations and decision-making in a constantly changing business environment
  • Learn from and share best practices across global categories
  • Occasional travel might be required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence
  • 1+ year supporting procurement with analytics
  • Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • Introductory skills in SQL a bonus, though not required
