Role: Interim Senior Commissioning and Procurement Officer - Construction and Property

Rate: £450 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: Major Local Authority

Location: Hybrid working from home and visits to their South London Office minimum 1 day per month.

Duration: 6 months+

An interim Senior Procurement Officer to join a close-knit and supportive Team, going through significant transformation, in support of major capital construction in the Housing and Property sector.

You will be a key part of the Capital Delivery Team for their Capital Schools programme, working with Procurement and Tendering systems to manage end-to-end procurement projects.

You will liaise effectively with clients in construction and stakeholders to a senior level, across functions.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Construction Procurement, ideally in Property.
• Good knowledge of Procurement and E-tendering systems.
• Public Sector experience, ideally within a Local Authority.
• 2-5 years' experience managing end-to-end Procurement.
