Role: Principal Procurement Manager (NEC4)
Contract Length: 18 months
Rate: £650 p/d

Location: Berkshire

Our client is a major UK public sector body growing a brand-new procurement function alongside major capital expenditure programmes.

Top 3 Evaluation Criteria:

1. Active SC clearance and Sole UK National
2. Commercial leadership experience
3. Demonstrable knowledge/experience of public sector procurement regulations and experience of applying these to contracts and procurements.

Essential Criteria:

• Commercial leadership experience

• Knowledge Public sector procurement regulation and experience of applying these to contracts and procurements.
• Understanding/experience procuring across various categories
• Understanding/experience managing contracts, ideally NEC 4
• Knowledge and experience using Crown Commercial Service procurement frameworks.
• Experience liaising with a broad range of government stakeholders, and suppliers.

Desirable:

• Public sector experience
• Experience of the Managing the exemption process from procurement regulations
