Post acquisition procurement restructure for global leader

Multi billion dollar global buiding materials manufacturer appointed 1st Executive to manage a large scale campaign across UK and European procurement. A recent acquisition led to a proposed restructure of the existing procurement function bringing this in line with global process and strategy.

The new structure required the addition of 17 Regional Procurement Managers, 4 European Procurement Managers and 3 Strategic Category Managers. Locations were diverse including remote areas of UK and Scotland with the European and Strategic roles based at head office. This was an extremely complex campaign due to the volume of requirements, the diversity of locations and our clients requirement for all candidates to start at the same time!

1st Executive were appointed to work with our client from an early stage compiling detailed job briefs across all roles as well as providing extensive salary benchmarking. Our experience of handling high volume campaigns such as this with a track record of providing flexible and innovative solutions gave our client absolute confidence in our ability to deliver.
