Procurement Manager, Centre of Excellence - £70k

Role: Procurement Manager COE (Centre of Excellence)

Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE, plus benefits package

Client: Major Utilities organisation

Location: Hybrid working and 2 days in Wokingham or Warwickshire per week.

Opportunity for an Procurement Manager (Centre of Excellence) to join a major Utilities company.

You will manage a small team to provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to improve Procurement best practices across the Team. You will identify, manage and execute opportunities for operational excellence, performance management, compliance and transformation in Procurement.

This role will design and support the development of a best-in-class procurement function, keeping the team informed on the latest trends, tools and research.

Requirements:

• Experienced Procurement professional, with hands-on experience of strategic sourcing and category management.
• Excellent stakeholder management at all levels.
• Leadership experience across coaching, mentoring, and developing Procurement talent.
• Good understanding of best-practice Procurement policies, processes and systems. with experience developing dashboards and KPIs.
• Analytical, reporting, and project management ability.
